It’s official.
Were headed over the hill to an out-of-the-way destination near Half Moon Bay. It’s called The Flying Fish Grill. Unfortunately, it’s not as low profile and unknown as it used to be when Mikey and his dive crew would barge the place for fish tacos and cold beer back in the day. It fills up with hat wearing assholes in loud shirts before noon on most weekends now. Ironically, even I’ll put up with the dumbass tourists for just a few crusts of a concoction the management at FFG refer to as Crabby Cheesy Bread.
I’ll spare you the verbose, foodie inspired accolaides and simply say that if you are ever in the area and are in need of a quarter pound of fresh dungeoness crab salad on toasted sourdough with just the right amount of asiago melted over the top, be sure and hook up a visit to FFG. I like to drizzle a little Cholula on mine.

cholula is good, we go through a bottle every other month at my house.
